History of establishment and development
The Information Technology College was opened at KNU. Specialties: "Automated Information Processing and Control Systems", "Software for Computing and Automated Systems".
Added: "Finance", "Banking", "Taxes and Taxation", "Economics and Accounting". The college split into two separate institutions.
The Law College was established. Specialty: "Law".
The Pedagogical College was formed. Specialties: "Teaching in Primary Schools", "Preschool Education", "Social Pedagogy", "Kyrgyz Language and Literature", "Russian Language and Literature", "Foreign Language", "History", "Geography", "Physical Education", "Computer Science", "Mathematics", "Fine Arts and Drafting".
The Kyrgyz-Chinese College was formed. Specialties: "Management", "Translation Studies".
The Professional College of KNU named after Jusup Balasagyn was reorganized based on the resolution of the Academic Council (15.05.2018 No. 3/4), the decision of the Board of Trustees (26.06.2019 No. 3/4), and the order of the Rector (18.07.2019 No. 262).
